The EGIA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving and expanding the future workforce of the home services industry. We are actively working to reverse misconceptions about and increase awareness of career paths in our industry among young people.
To reach that better future, we are committed to increasing the pipeline of talented young professionals selecting HVAC as their first-choice career and bolstering the industry’s ability to meet consumer demand well into the future, goals we are working toward through a number of initiatives.
The EGIA Foundation operates grassroots communications and awareness campaigns to reach young students, their parents and educators to share information about the rewarding, in-demand and well-paying career paths available in our industry. Moreover, the EGIA Foundation’s H.E.R.O. Scholarship Program awards up to 20 HVAC students every year with scholarships totaling $2,500 apiece to help mitigate cost as a hurdle for passionate people interesting in pursuing career paths in the trades. Working in tandem with individual contractors as well as Contractor University powered by EGIA, a national membership organization serving thousands of home services contractors, the EGIA Foundation connects HVAC program graduates with successful contracting businesses eagerly seeking people to hire.
To reach that better future, we are committed to increasing the pipeline of talented young professionals selecting HVAC as their first-choice career and bolstering the industry’s ability to meet consumer demand well into the future.
